Personal Background
Dr. Timothy J. Mineo grew up in Texas, where he developed an early passion for sports and wellness. He attended the University of Colorado, where he was a freestyle skier and a member of the university’s triathlon team. Majoring in Applied Physiology, Dr. Mineo cultivated his interest in human performance and continued racing in triathlons after graduation. Relocating to Lake Tahoe, Dr. Mineo worked as a professional ski boot fitter, where he discovered his passion for foot and ankle biomechanics. This experience inspired him to pursue a career in medicine, specializing in podiatry and foot and ankle surgery.

Professional Journey
Dr. Mineo earned his medical degree from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He then completed a rigorous surgical residency in Portland, Oregon, where he honed his expertise in complex foot and ankle conditions. He is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS), the only recognized surgical board in podiatry.

Active Lifestyle and Personal Interests
Dr. Mineo maintains an active and adventurous lifestyle. A masters elite cyclist, he competes with a local Portland racing team and has represented Team USA at the World Championships for multisport. In the winter, you’ll find him skiing, a passion rooted in his days as a freestyle skier.

Beyond his athletic pursuits, Dr. Mineo enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing the drums—when his kids allow it—and dreams about racing cars again someday.

Zac Egidi, DPM

Personal Background:
Dr. Zachary Marco Egidi’s path to becoming a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon reflects a lifelong passion for science, patient care, and education. He grew up in Pittsburgh PA surrounded by a large Italian family. He was inspired by his father, a high school biology and anatomy teacher, to immerse himself in science and medicine from an early age. His professional journey is guided by a commitment to educate patients, students, and fellow physicians, ensuring that every individual he works with feels informed and empowered in their healthcare.

Professional Journey:
Dr. Egidi received his Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering at Alfred University in NY. He then went on to obtain a Master of Science in biotechnology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. During this time, he spent time shadowing podiatric physicians, which solidified his desire to enter the field of podiatry due to the balance of hands-on patient care and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on patients’ quality of life. He then went on to complete his podiatric medical education at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH. He completed a rigorous three-year medical and surgical residency at LECOM Health Millcreek Hospital in Erie, PA, where he served as chief resident. During residency, he also earned a Master’s degree in Medical Education, combining his love for patient care with his passion for teaching. He is now board certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Practice Focus:
Dr. Egidi focuses on both conservative and surgical management of diverse foot and ankle conditions, including sports injuries, bunion and hammertoe deformities, foot trauma, and ankle pathology.

Personal Interest:
Outside of work, Dr. Egidi enjoys spending time outdoors whenever possible. He can often be found hiking some of Portland’s stunning trails or paddle boarding along the river. Cooking and exploring new cuisines are his passions. He’s also a comic book collector, and his collection may be a bit overwhelming. In the future, he hopes to travel more.

Grace Yang, DPM

Dr. Yang earned her undergraduate degrees from Emory University in Atlanta, and her Podiatric medicine degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in the vibrant New York City. She received a rigorous, comprehensive three year residency training in Bronx, NY, where she was exposed to a variety of pathologies and served as chief resident her final year. Following residency, Dr. Yang returned to Atlanta for a highly surgical fellowship at Emory University Saint Joseph Hospital. She was trained on the latest techniques on minimal invasive surgeries, deformity corrections, and total ankle replacement.

Known for a patient-centered approach, Dr. Yang emphasizes education, prevention, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and lifestyle. In her free time, Dr. Yang enjoys baking, workout classes, pilates, and trying out new restaurants.

Vince Catania

Vince Catania, C. Ped grew up as an athlete in Portland, Oregon. He attended the University of Oregon where he was an avid cyclist and snow skier. During his college years, he volunteered as a National Ski Patrolman and trained as an emergency medicine technician and mountain safety coordinator. Upon completion of college, he moved to Lake Tahoe, California where he became a Professional Ski Patrolman. After years spent in uncomfortable ski boots and listening to fellow patrollers complain of foot pain, he became interested in foot and ankle biomechanics and pursued his career as a Certified Pedorthist.

Professional Journey
After completing his bachelor’s degree, he went on to post graduate studies at the University of Colorado. Course work included anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and biomechanics. He furthered his training at Northwestern University School of Orthotics and Prosthetics and was Board Certified as a Pedorthist in 1996. Vince is currently the owner/operator of FitThotic, an orthotic manufacturer located in Bend, Oregon.

Personal interests
When not at work, Vince can be found mountain biking, hiking or riding the chairlifts at Mt. Bachelor. Often accompanied by their two dogs, Juniper Berry and Luna Moon Pop, Vince and his wife have settled into an active lifestyle in Central Oregon.
