Where are you located?
We’re at 12672 NW Barnes Rd, Suite 100, Portland, OR 97229 — convenient to Beaverton, Cedar Mill, and Bethany. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Is there a wait to get in?
Because Dr. Egidi is newly accepting patients in Portland, he often has sooner availability than long-established schedules — same-week appointments are frequently open. Call to check the soonest time we can see you.
Do I need a referral to see Dr. Egidi?
Many insurance plans let you see a podiatrist without a referral. Some HMO and Medicare Advantage plans do require one — call (503) 284-2000 with your plan details and we’ll check for you before you book.
Does Dr. Egidi perform surgery? Where is it done?
Yes — Dr. Egidi is a board-certified (ABFAS) foot & ankle surgeon. When surgery is the right option, most procedures take place at OATH Surgery Center, our close outpatient partner — typically a lower-cost, more streamlined setting — with hospital surgery centers available when a case calls for it.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your insurance card, a photo ID, a list of current medications, and any prior imaging or records for your foot or ankle issue. Bringing your everyday shoes helps too — wear patterns tell us a lot.
What if I don’t have insurance?
Self-pay options are available. Call (503) 284-2000 and our team will walk you through current pricing before you book.
How much does a podiatrist visit cost?
With insurance, you’ll typically owe your specialist copay or coinsurance; most major plans cover podiatry visits. If you’re paying out of pocket, our team can tell you the visit cost up front when you call — no surprises. Call (503) 284-2000 and we’ll walk you through it before you book.
Should I see a podiatrist or an orthopedist for foot pain?
For most foot and ankle problems — heel pain, bunions, ingrown toenails, sprains, sports injuries — a podiatrist is the right first call, because the specialty is devoted entirely to the foot and ankle. Dr. Zac Egidi is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and provides both conservative care and surgery, so you’re not bounced between providers if your problem needs more than one kind of treatment. Call (503) 284-2000.
What happens at a first podiatry visit?
Expect a conversation about your symptoms and activity, a hands-on exam, and often in-office X-rays the same day — then a clear explanation of what’s going on and your options, starting with the most conservative. Most first visits end with a treatment plan you can begin immediately. New patients can often be seen the same week: (503) 284-2000.
